| | The Magical Musical Christmas Murals were a dream of Brady Adams, President and CEO of Evergreen Federal Bank in Grants Pass, Oregon. Brady, a former Oregon Senator, is very community-minded, with a passion for supporting the arts.
In the summer of 2003, Evergreen Bank sponsored a BearFest. Local artists and businesses teamed up to create artistically decorated bears that were auctioned off for charity. fli created Celeste L. Bear, a dark blue bear sparkling with fiber optics to represent the night sky.
Brady saw the potential of fiber optics as public art, and with the help of FLI, planned the first eighteen Magical Musical Christmas Murals for Grants Pass. The ten feet tall by five feet wide murals decorate the streets in Grants Pass, Oregon during the winter holidays. By day the murals are beautifully painted holiday scenes, and at night they become spectacular shows of music, color and light.
Each panel is 5' wide and 10' tall. Impressive and BIG when you're standing in front of one. Our Magical Musical Christmas Mural Gallery shows side by sides of the Day View and Night View for these displays. Check it out in either our MMCM Gallery or MMCM Viewer. | |
